Carol Edelstein
Carol is a thought leader in the areas of executive compensation, sales force effectiveness, leadership development, coaching and organizational effectiveness. Her approach and experience give you the advantage you need to take your business to the next level.
Prior to launching Aspire!, Carol was a partner/principal at Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt), working as a practicing senior consultant specializing in leadership development and executive compensation. She consulted with senior executives and advised compensation committees on the full range of executive compensation issues, including corporate governance, executive contracts, retention, change-in-control arrangements, and market data (including Board compensation).
She brings more than 25 years of experience with her. For you, this means she can provide you with the expertise, experience and network advantage you need to evaluate and administer your total compensation program, develop an effective succession plan , and create and execute a sound leadership structure.
Carol received a B.S. from Cornell University, an M.Ed. from Harvard University, and an M.B.A. from New York University, Stern School of Business. She was personally taught by Marshall Goldsmith in the Goldsmith executive coaching process. Carol started her career with McKinsey & Co., Inc. Before joining Hewitt Associates, she was a consultant at Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson & Co.).
Carol conducts compensation and leadership training sessions as well as contributing to industry articles and maintaining an active speaking schedule. Her articles have appeared in Compensation and Benefit Review, and she has been quoted in The New York Times, Crain’s New York, Directors and Boards, and other publications. She has written chapters on executive compensation in business school texts. She has personally been through IPOs, mergers, and acquisitions and has coached and managed teams through these transitions.
